How bad is the overtime for software developer/analyst or application consultant in NCS? Need to on weekend?

On average expect 12-13 hour work days during weekdays and 10 hour weekend OT about once a month.

I did not do so well... probably due to the project I screwed up recently which overrun the timeline by almost 6 months and caused everyone to work OT for 2 months straight... perhaps it's time to change company to get a fresh start.

Join 2 years ago as application consultation at 3.3k monthly.

Last year increment 5%

This year promoted, 5.1k monthly base.

I guess you were in this situation currently?

most of the time, ppl would resign. but if u think u r confident of the role, continue staying.

Am currently a perm staff. My Performance Rating (PR) was 4 (meeting job requirements to satisfactory level). So were the rest of my colleagues when I checked.

And guess how much my so called "Performance Bonus" was? 0.80. Yup, 0.80 of my last drawn gross salary. Which is ****ing pathetic imo.

The minimum I got as a direct contract was 1 month bonus with that PR. Higher PR = fatter bonus obviously.

Increment wise, increase by $40 only. KNN.

I guess now with ****-el (Singtel) at the helm of things, everything turned to **** quite literally. They are soaking up most of the $$$ earned from our hard work imo. Especially that ****ing CEO Socks Kong. NBCB.

Avoid NCS at all costs. I will be quitting soon.

4 is considered poor performer. "Satisfactory" is just a polite way of saying not good, but not bad enough to get terminated.

Bro/Sis, did you just get converted to perm? I was converted to perm last year and my increment was also same as yours. With 3 weeks bonus. Their reason is because just convert, they treat you as newly joined staff... Sibei lame reason.

I left shortly after.. and yes, they keep sending email say the bosses get how many million bonus...

Never heard of people getting fired before. Last time want to sack one of the staff, but HR say dun really have the sacking policy. Must wait for the person to ownself quit/resign.

Unless staff is perm from the beginning.

If manager not happy, they can choose not to renew the contract after 1 year or 2.

Average salary for that position is around 8 to 10k SGD/month

1. Salary is too low compare to average of software engineer/programmer. My increment is 100 SGD a year @.@. Bonus is < 1 month even though our team make lot of profit.
2. The working hours are longer than other company with bad management as well.
3. Worst thing is so many good people left after 1,2 years. Bad people stick around for as long as possible as it is hard to fire bad people in NCS. Manager is also helplessly incompetent. You don't want to be surrounded be incompetent and lazy people right?

Switched company and got huge jump in basic salary.
