So lets see if the bonus will still b as good.

Unregistered 11-06-2015 03:24 PM

many are saying 5-7 mths for non-manager, 6-8 mths for managers as this year performance not bad.

What happened to leave you stunned?

Unregistered 19-06-2015 12:34 PM

Terribily low bonus when group CEO and coy CEO informed us that coy did very well for the last FY. Exceeded the targeted margin but yet didnt share the fruits with staff?
So where all the fruits go to?

Unregistered 19-06-2015 01:39 PM

Lol who was shouting about 5-7 months? NCS is known for 1. low pay 2. low bonus

Unregistered 19-06-2015 04:57 PM

Very dissappointing, this year make more profit than last year and yet bonus keep getting lower & lower... KNN...

Seems like only 1-1.5 mths for average performer. KNS. People at ST draw high salary & bonus & just keep squeezing the subsidiary.

Unregistered 19-06-2015 06:00 PM

not surprising lah, ncs is a sme doing mainly low margin gov jobs. realistically how much bonus do ppl really expect? cant believe so many ppl really think ncs gonna pay them 6-7 months bonus. xiao

Unregistered 19-06-2015 06:11 PM

The consolation is our local SI competitor, ST Electronics is giving bonus worse than NCS.
So count our blessings, we have job security, company is stable, we r big players in govt. tenders, if u don't perform well, project will still go-live somehow. And for all u know, maybe u will retire in NCS if it is already your comfort zone.

Problem is NCS & STE basic is very low, most of us depend on the bonus (last time was ~3 months) to top up and at least not so bad annually. Now they keep dropping the bonus this year cannot even get 2 months unless good performer the whole package is dropping every year. This year I get 4% increase then they cut another 1 month in bonus end up total pay keeps dropping!!!

Unregistered 19-06-2015 08:51 PM

I got only 3.59%. U got 4%, better than me :(

justanewb 24-06-2015 01:43 PM

Performance bonus for Perm Staff are totally peanuts compared to those on Contracts! How unfair can NCS be? So what if perm staff are getting higher salary than contracts staff, but bonus payout lose to them. KNN NCS! PUI!!!!!!!!!!

Unregistered 30-06-2015 12:33 AM

Perm staff perf bonus not even 1 mth of their salary, and contract staff can get 2 - 2.5 mth bonus. WTH?!?!?!?

feel free to find another job. 1 month bonus is a joke.

Unregistered 30-06-2015 03:52 PM

actually 1 mth is for below average performer. if ur average or above average should be getting 1.4-1.5 mth. not that its any better.... haha...

Hi

Does perm staff have aws which is the 13 mth? cause recently i heard that contract say no aws but only got performance bonus.

Pls advice thanks!

Unregistered 30-06-2015 09:10 PM

All my colleagues who are perm staff, their perf bonuses are not even 1 mth of their salary.
NCS is a joke. Please don't join NCS!

Perm staff have aws, so 1mth aws + 1mth performance bonus = 2 mths which is same as contract.

Perm is actually better because worse come to worse you still have guarantee 1mth aws. Contract is really depend, if they want to give 0 you also LLST.

NCS without good bonus is actually very low in total pay. For e.g. a Project Director is only paid like 9k x 14.5 mth include bonus only 130k which is a joke as many mncs pay their non-managers higher than that.

Recently my friend get hired as perm staff say that NCS no aws so a bit confuse

Unregistered 05-07-2015 02:36 PM

NCS is definitely not a good place for those who intend to progress in career. Prospects very limited as parent see them as just a cash cow subsidiary to squeeze money from gov projects because they are GLC.

Pay & bonus is even worse than a lot of SME, the only thing they are good at is giving out fake job titles, everyone is a consultant/manager/director over there.

The only thing worse than joining a crap co like NCS is to go join a contract outsourcer doing sai gang that even NCS themself dont want to do.

Unregistered 07-07-2015 01:05 PM

World Partners Solution is a grand name for a very small low end local it support firm, go there @ your own risk

Unregistered 13-07-2015 11:10 PM

For new staff, there is no more AWS and currently I don't think they are taking in direct contract staff anymore. Recently bonus is really crappy (less than 1 mth) for newly converted perm staff. Really SG50 FTW!

Less than 1 mth bonus in Jun 2015?!!! Sure or not? Not true lah. Minimally 1.2 to 1.5 mths.

Unregistered 18-07-2015 11:52 AM

Ncs does not pay AWS anymore

Ncs used to have 13th month but that policy changed in 2014. Instead they apportion 13th month into ur monthly base salary. However that applies only to perm staff affected by this policy change. For subsequent new hires, no such thing - only variable bonus which ranges between 1 to 4 months

so the best a staff can get is 4 mths w/o aws? that is quite bad since their basic salary is already very low. is the average 2 mths w/o aws for most people?

Yes. On average, most will get about 2 months. The better performers get 3 months+ and best performers should be 4 months+

The performance grading is from 1 to 5 where 1 is the best and 5 is the poorest. The earlier post on ppl in ncs getting 1 month; those are probably graded 4 which is considered below the average.

NCS now is under singtel, but they also do outsourcing business, so you might get attached to other company as well, it is better for you to understand the job scope by asking the hiring manager.

I am with NCS for 9 years, P1, now getting 4.2K. Is this normal career/salary progression in NCS.
