Yes, and you are better off with other certifications than this master.

No need. You are free to take up more courses to finish the masters earlier, but that’s subjected to your project exigency and manager’s approval

NCS Cyber Security Consultant

is it easy to get in as a fresh grad and what salary can I expect as a fresh grad

Unregistered 25-04-2022 02:21 PM

Nucleus offer

Nucleus fresh grad offer still stuck at 4.8k for all roles even though there is the pay mix rebalancing this month... only first class degree can get 5.2k

Unregistered 25-04-2022 02:35 PM

Cyber security consultant interview

Anyone know whats the interview like? Any technical interviews? Or purely behavioural/personality?

Unregistered 25-04-2022 02:57 PM

What about the nucleus program fresh grad pay as a cyber security consultant? Will it be the same range 4k-4.5k?

Unregistered 25-04-2022 02:59 PM

I know of SIM grads getting the same pay as NTU/NUS CS second upper grads of 4.8k, so ya should not have salary difference. This is only for the nucleus program though.

Since when pay range is 4k-4.5k? I thought all nucleus program regardless of role pay range is 4.8k-5.2k?

Unregistered 25-04-2022 03:50 PM

I only thought local U get 4.8-5.2k. Anyways nucleus program no need to stay for 5 years right? No penalty just that no masters correct?

Unregistered 25-04-2022 11:39 PM

You can even leave in the first month, just give notice only.

The faster they get back to you, the higher likelihood that you will be going into a project that is going to be on fire or already on fire.

Turn over rate is high and they need people to save fire.
In other words, be prepared to OT.

Best, if the HR/your future boss keep pestering you to start earlier means you confirm tio 4D already

Unregistered 01-05-2022 11:02 PM

Hi

So means if one week have passed and no sound = I am out?

Unregistered 01-05-2022 11:20 PM

Just email HR and ask. The typical normal timeframe is 1-2 weeks. If you are within the normal range, you will get your work life balance. Life will be a breeze for u in NCS.

Unregistered 02-05-2022 12:49 AM

Thanks!

Is the engineer (apps) path equally the same as other paths? Ie. If you are in a good project, can expect to learn better etc, otherwise GG?

Unregistered 05-05-2022 01:06 PM

Yes, project is important.

Unregistered 11-05-2022 07:32 PM

long wait

More than 2 weeks and no email or call from HR despite HR stating interview is positive and hiring manager will contact me. Don't know what expect.
