June for bonuses. Salary increment yes, but do not expect much. No salary adjustment if newcomers were to get a higher base pay.

What does the last sentence mean? Newcomers mean less than how many months or a year?
How does the newcomer know he got a higher base pay? What is the usual increment?

My pals who joined as “fresh grads” got adjusted from $4200 to $4800. It seems like they have it better.

Now everyone is equal regardless of experience or not. Seems like P&C dept didn’t consider this when there was a plan in adjustment.

When you join NCS? Is the adjustment for everyone even for those that join at 4.2K?

How long does it usually take for them to offer the contract? It has been 2 weeks since the verbal offer. Should I email HR and ask?

Tiagong nowadays fresh grad getting 4.8k as base salary even in ST.
Anyway, just a warning. To anyone especially fresh grads thinking of joining NCS as a software engineer, unless you are a very technical person and do not need much guidance, this place is going to be a hell hole (that is if u tio the projects that are on fire which is the one i am currently in). I was not given any orientation and expected to solve **** that is very hard to undo because of dependency.
4.8k as base salary, no work life balance, and a toxic work culture or elsewhere? Your choice.

Your last sentence 4.8k is referring to ST or NCS? Which one has no work life balance and toxic work culture? And base salary is 4.8k is so high. Like that mean basic salary is 6k lol.

Anyone received news on the salary adjustment in Apr where they convert a portion of your bonus to fix pay.

Is just 0.9/12 months of your monthly salary added to your monthly base pay, this amount is just taken out from your variable/bonus.

Unregistered 08-04-2022 04:32 PM

So from the recent pay structure revision, fresh grad starting pay from 4.8k now bump up to 5.2kish?

Unregistered 10-04-2022 02:31 AM

Think recent grad not applicable? Cos not eligible for bonus yet. Feel free to correct me

1 year is full time study. You can try convincing them why you are worth being sponsored for full time study and drawing full pay, but I dont think they will even entertain you.

melvados 18-04-2022 05:51 PM

Hi all, I just applied for the Nucleus programme. Got a few questions, hoping some of the masters here can help answer?

1. How long will NCS get back to me?
2. The 5-years program, am I bonded to the company? If I leave within the 5-years, will I be blacklisted etc?
3. Any stuff I need to know?

Thanks in advance for any replies!

Unregistered 18-04-2022 06:16 PM

1. Depends.
2. Not bonded, leave anytime. But if you do u cannot get the masters.
3. WLB depends on ur boss and project. If you quick learner should be no problem

melvados 18-04-2022 07:06 PM

Thanks, noted on that. I don't suppose you will get email if you are not shortlisted?

if I finish the master in 3 years before the 5 years can I resign? or do I die die need to follow the 5 years curriculum?

5 years for a master look a bit long

will I ask to pay the money back to the company?

what is the catch?

So good free master, can join and quit the program anytime I want?

Simply because to prevent people from leaving after getting it, gaming the system. It’s not like they are not paying you while you are studying/working.
