I received an offer for singtel's MAP. This year they plan to send MAP into NSC permanently (not just for 1 rotation). I was keen on being part of that group since NCS has way better growth as compared to Singtel as a whole. With that, I believe comes better learning opportunities, bonuses, and career progression. Would this be correct?

Also would love to know about the culture, pace, and roles with the best learning opportunities in the Management path if someone could share their thoughts. Thanks.

Hi! How did you find out they are sending MAP to NCS permanently? Would people in the MAP this year still have the opportunity to select NCS during the role selection phase then?

NCS Consulting Analyst or ACN Consulting Analyst prospects better? In terms of salary, bonus, promotion, work life balance, brand name, etc?

NCS culture worst, no ppl care about you at all, any question ask senior/supervisor, they ask you figure out urself, just lets you struggle without any help.

join if you want to risk ur career

Agree. I recently joined NCS, throw me to sea expect me to swim.
There is not much guidance (not necessary needing one) but basically no one for you to cross-cover each other, each very silo at their own tasks. If 1 quit, will greatly impact the rest of the project team.

I do not recommend fresh grads to join Nucleus program though. The program itself is good, but unfortunately I am seeing many fresh grads being thrown to project teams that are drowning or needed more manpower. Thus in reality, you do not really have a proper senior to mentor you. If you are unlucky, your PM may pull you out of some of your courses if work is more urgent. So all in all it really depends.

offered by NCS

Hope everyone is doing good, managed to find this NCS thread.

Would like to check how many levels are there in OS grade? Heard is OST6 is max.
And then next path is P1.

Issit worth to join NCS with 14 % increment compare to my current salary if i go over. The benefits are better then my current company.

- yearly $500 flexi cash
- 14 days plus 5 days special leave
- $300 annual SingTel bill rebate

When is the increment? In July right.

Is os grade - operation and support considers entry level as compare to P1.
Usually fresh grad enter is P1?

So what's it like for mid-professionals? I'm pulling close to $10K right now (including AWS, bonuses, 13th month etc all in) and not sure about moving - it doesn't sound like their leave and other benefits are all that amazing either (I get 21 days a year right now but I *think* that's about to get bumped to 25...)

Really unsure since I'm told the role is both local and regional...

Its not like you ncs will be forever in one team.
People will transfer join another team etc.

I remember have a colleague who was in the same team for 10 years. Already grow mold.
Transferred to another team. Cannot make it

Quit in the end.

May I know how much bonus do NCS staff normally get?
Also, is there any yearly salary increment? If so, how much?
I’m a fresh grad under Nucleus, so still new to NCS. would appreciate some info!

bro your salary bump up is because of salary increment? Or they auto adjust it for you to match the increased entry salary?

Unregistered 14-03-2022 04:48 PM

they auto adjust to match increased entry salary

Unregistered 14-03-2022 11:41 PM

Anyone sent the documents for pre-offer but still waiting for the offer package?

For my case, I joined with $4500, and they adjusted to $4800
My pals who joined as “fresh grads” got adjusted from $4200 to $4800. It seems like they have it better.

Now everyone is equal regardless of experience or not. Seems like P&C dept didn’t consider this when there was a plan in adjustment.
