I just started 1 Aug and after asking around. Promotion damn slow as much as 8 years and increment 4% they always just give the lowest as possible. Not one person say so i take it is factual.

But good thing is work life balance damn good here. So probably the reason for slow promotion and increment?

Thus already have thinking how I sld move soon. But I wanna see if the increment is really that bad.

Also not good if I leave within 1-2 years. Dilemma

This sort of things sometimes is impossible to tell until you join. It's the luck of the draw.

4% increment in CS context s considered decent.

But 8 years to get promoted is indeed long.

Yeah, and not all 8 years promoted as well and that itself is demoralising. Meaning my pay just depends alot on yearly increment.
:/

At the age of 26, how much are you earning per month? Basis?

Just wondering!
