All this assumes that there is sufficient estab for MX11 present in your department, so when the time comes, you can be pushed up to take a MX11 role there.

There should also be a merit increment that takes effect in Apr 2019 pay onwards.

Thanks for your reply. How about being promoted in Apr 2019?

SCDF Regular

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone can advise on how SCDF pay structure works.

I'm currently an Undergrad in a Local Uni with 1 more year until i join the force; i am also a Scholarship holder from SCDF.

Entry-level: LTA

Generally, do they follow that of the pay indicated on the website? Additionally, are those inclusive of all PB and allowance?

If anyone can advise too: How much are PB for SCDF regulars generally?

Thanks!!

I've about 4 years of relevant work in another public agency before. What's the likelihood of being promoted to MX11? 2nd upper NTU, no NS
Also will there be merit increment in Apr on top of confirmation increment?

Would like to know this as well. Joined in Jan 2018 and got confirmed after a year. Working and edu exp about the same but I'm from nus. Also mx12 currently.

A few directors have told me I got a good grade for my appraisal. Is it possible to get promoted to mx11 this april?

Why can't people earning 300k per annum read this forum?
There are people who are earning 300k in their mid 30s, won't say that there is alot but there is definitely a handful (I am not one of them but I do earn enough for a relatively good lifestyle). This group of people grew up during the internet bubble back in the early 2000s and are likely avid forum readers (I've friends who are partners of law firm, high flyers in civil service, scholarship holders doing very well in the military, top performers in MNC and even doctor friends who read this forum fyi).

Suggest you to continue stay in the bank. High pay in gov means dog life max
