When you say scholar, which ones count?
NUS and NTU scholars count not? |

The bonded scholar. Spent 200k on them must extract as much value out as possible. Milk them dry. |

Recently accepted an offer from the civil service that was paying more or less the same base salary as my current job (private sector, mnc) but when it comes to overall compensation package, the civil service had +$10k worth of annual projected bonuses that my current job doesn’t have. Does the move make sense? Felt that I was stagnating in my current job/not picking up transferable skills for future career progression as well, which the new job would be able to provide more growth in that area.

In your case there should be other companies which can pay you more. You just have to wait for this opportunity to come along. |
