Actually I have no idea why you think the numbers are unrealistic. I think the poster said it included employer cpf and is divided by 12 months. If so, and assuming around 2months bonus plus AWS, then the actual gross monthly salary only works out to be around $7K. For someone with 10 years experience, this number is certainly realistic.

Yeah just confirmed poster said including employers' cpf then would actually need to deduct 17%. And only 12 months.

Just got offered 3.9k from a ministry. NUS, FASS, FCH with NS. Is the offer ok?

Not bad la. When i first started i had 3.9. NUS, FASS, FCH with NS, and Masters from another local uni.
