I have Nitec in mechanical. My background is 6 yrs in aerospace and 2 yrs as a contruction supervisor. No relevant experience prior to EM.

Called the hr side +66 for many times. But they didnt pick up the phone . Any ideas why ?

Okay guys called the hr side. The result might be release next week due to a massive application.

No wonder you dont need the test. Most probably you have a good knowledge in mechanical. Just wait for the results. Haiz..heard some of them the previous ones get called after 2 mths

Probably the interviewers felt that you are competent enough, therefore you need not sit for the aptitude test. Hope is not lost, so long as you do not get any rejection letter via email. All the best to you.

There are 3 sets of toll free number to call from, and a cell phone for of a particular HR lady. Have you tried them all ?

Hopefully, it's almost a month for most, and more than a month of wait for a good few. Did they mention anything else?

Did they say for certain the results will be out next week? HR has been saying "next week" since 2-3 weeks back. Same old story.

Which of the lines did you manage to get through, One of the toll-free lines or did you call the cell phone of the thai HR lady?

Called thru the cellphone number . Thank god she picked up . Atleast she clarify the doubts that we want to know . Just wait another week guys. All the best toeveryone.

M is for mechanical test, E is for electrical test for N iam not too sure.its 3days to a month and still no call or emails.Called the hotlines for god damn knows how many times but it seems that no one is even attending to the phone.emailed them.but again to no avail.

They are probably Mechanical , Numerical and Electrical aptitute test .

Or maybe Mechanical, Nursing, Electrical

Back in 2012 when i entered EM, there was no test at all. just 2 interviews on the same day. yimes have changed i guess

I think E is exempted or experienced. Hahah. Thats why no need test.

So being experienced, Any idea why EM HR is taking so long for the results of the interview held end Feb?

So, by taking the test, chances of getting the job way lesser?

Or they just want to test and gauge your technical knowledge, doesn't matter if pass or fail.

Hopefully they will call this week. One of the guys mentioned the called HR last week, and they mentioned they would release the results this week, not sure if they will though.

I dont think they will call. When i went for the interview, i asked the manager when will we roughly start if selected... He said it wont be too soon. Will be after august.

But how come they held the interview on the feb?it's been a month plus now.

I went on the 26th feb. EM always very long process. Many of those who worked there already said it will take more than a few mths... And our intake now still havent go for medical check up. So i guess it will be june to august before we don their uniforms. Hehe. I think so la...

How you know bro? Did the hr told you this?

HR mentioned April 1st-2nd week. However, at the rate this is going, wouldn't be suprized if results are out only in May as the intake should be in June/ July.

whats the salary in EM like for a 5 years experience chemical engineer? 10 years?

Haven't got a slightest clue. However the golden qns is, when will the HR call for the results.
