At what stage are you at with the CS job offer? Just the letter of offer?

I checked in with the CS HR before turning down the other offer, have you checked in with them over these 2 months?

Ya, just the letter of offer. I have checked in with them once in this 2 months though, don't want to annoy them with my chase.

When you checked in with the CS HR, including that what would have been the number of times you have checked in with them may I ask?

Think about it, even if you worked for a company for a month and left, the company will have no difficulty finding a replacement. After all it is an employer's market now.

A bird in hand is worth two in the bush. If you give up an offer in hopes for a better one to come, you run the risk of months of opportunity costs forgone in the form of salaries and wider gaps in your resume.

What you say does make sense, but wouldn't that also cause an impact to the resume that you leave within one month of employment, and some companies does intensive background checks? I know its about how you explain to the next employer, but I also do know that this may form other unwanted views too if one leaves a job too fast but hey, thanks for giving your views too! :)

Twice.

I called because I had to get back to the other company. and second time through an email. They then called me a few days later to share package details say prepping letter of offer now.

I think it differs from what i have read so far in here. Not everyone is facing the same length of waiting time though.

Job Status

Hi, I submitted my application somewhere around June and received a call for interview on 23rd July and a written test. Was told that they will get back to me around 2 weeks so today, I asked HR for an update and was told that the Director will call and share more on the role. Does this mean a 2nd round of interview? Have anybody encounter this before?

Thank you!
