Hi, may I know how important it is to finish Round 1 of the psychometric test, and on average how many questions do most people complete? The instructions said that the aim of the test shouldn't be to complete the entire thing, but I'm not sure if I have done enough.

Hi Guys, I know that this have been discuss many times but I would still like to ask for anyone recently that went for the test and how long did you waited for?

theres no definite answer to this question. if you are lucky and the panel interview is near your PT. then can be less than 2 weeks. for me personally it was about 3 weeks for the first time after PT.(i failed my first interview and applied immediately, got a another interview for another position in less than 1 week.)

just in case my PT isnt considered recent to you. i took it in early sept.

Anyway, the written test should be something generic. more of personal questions. Nothing to worry about.

I sat for my PT in early October. Till now, I haven't heard from them, except for the one time when HR requested for more supportive document 3 weeks after the PT.

Can I check if they still do send out rejection letter in recent months?

i dont wish to divulge too much about myself. just using my personal exp.

all i can say is that just know yourself well. understand why you want to do this job. sell yourself during the interview. tell them why you will fit well in this position. in all, i think the interview is more of looking at your personality than your capabilities in general. no real way of preparing for such interviews. just be who you are. good luck.

i didnt call them. for me i would give them 3-4 weeks after PT before doing so.

for interviews. i had the rejection email sent to me exactly 2 weeks after the interview. i would suggest to call them after 2 weeks if there is no news. but from my exp, i got the unit preview offer on the same day(someone called) after my interview. ( incase some is confused, i failed my first interview, got unit preview for the 2nd time i reapplied.)

Hi, i'm regular from the air force with security and medical clearance all clear in SAF. My 5 years contract with SAF is ending and soon to graduate with a degree @ unisim.


So I just wondering what are my chances of becoming a DXO after I leave the force and anyone here experienced such situation like me before?

anyone know what is the longest possible waiting time the clearance/management approval?

better stay in saf. unisim is only recognize on paper, in real life all the good DXO position will go to the local uni grads unless u have a strong backer in mindef. u will either not get anything or get something in a no future "condemn" dept.
