s://.howtomakepartner.com/how-much-do-i-need-to-buy-in-as-a-partner-at-the-big-4/ This link helps explain the topic pretty well, of course the salary and buy-in amounts in Singapore and US/UK will be different. |
Is late 30s the normal age for partner or isit 40 onwards .
Whats the latest SM payscale and bonus like for yellow ? Heard it was pretty good ? 3-5 months ? Anyone can verify |

25 - Start work in Big4 as an associate 27 - Promoted to Senior Associate after 2 years as Associate 30 - Promoted to Manager after 3 years as SA/AM 33 - Super achiever, promoted to Senior Manager/Associate Director after 3 years as Manager 36 - Super achiever again, proposed to Director after 3 years as SM/AD 38 - Offered partnership But this is really much fast tracked/super achiever status, can sell very well or have connections to make sales. Most will probably be SM/AD or D for 5-6 years, so you are really looking at early to mid 40s for partnership for most people who decide to slog it out. |
Does this mean that SM = AD ? Do you need to become AD/D before partner or can SM directly become partner ?

After that is Director. You become a Director before you become a Partner. |
