As a proportion of total graduates from the cohort, yes, it’s been maintained.

The issue is the absolute number of accounting graduates have fallen sharply.

There seems to be some initiatives coming from ISCA to reverse this trend, but I expect any successful attempt will have a lead time of at least 3 years.

For accounting grads, surprisingly yes. It's a safe path to middle income that even average non-rockstars can get so audit is still something well regarded. The thing is, there's just fewer accounting grads overall because the ambitious ones go to computer science now. For business grads, I see most going to banks, management programs, marketing, and so forth.
