For business grads, I see most going to banks, management programs, marketing, and so forth.

If you already in accounting then yes

But if you still in JC then just study harder la.

I can totally foresee by 2028 this forum will have people ranting and we will shoot them why never study harder in 2024

If NTU NUS SMU graduates all united don't do OT

what can Big4 do?

You guys should know Big4 had to rely on branding to charge high fees

Well, you should realise by now that there are many graduates working in b4 from none of schools mentioned above. Wut branding? No one cares lol. Everyone is paid the same salary.

There's always low SES kids who worry about having trouble finding a job because they dont have a safety net and mediocre kids who think they can't do better than accounting. HR just like to filter out candidates for stupid reasons.

agreed. can't blame those who are already halfway in but those who have yet to decide on their course really shouldn't do accounting. there's no way firms can have 100% foreigners for their A1s.

Of course client award projects based on big 4 brand name la.

If not based on your Indian name? Offshore team?

That's why right now some clients want to see the team members CV before they award anything

Locals are mostly associates. Seniors may be offshored and associates handle all the vouching onshore.
