What you talking about audit qualification and practicing?

What's wrong with my statement "5 years ACCA FCCA can join ICAEW" ?

I am talking about joining ICAEW as a FCCA ACCA member

s://.icaew.com/membership/becoming-a-member/members-of-other-bodies/campaigns/pathways-to-membership/are-you-eligible

Five years of full membership
You must have at least five years of full membership (completed in full by the relevant submission deadline) of that professional body as a fully-qualified member.

Any time you spent as a student or part-qualified member cannot be counted towards the five year requirement as you would not have been fully qualified during that time.

Please lah

You think this audit job only NTU, NUS,SMU graduates can do meh

I see big4 now all got JHK, ACCA, UTAR, UM

I see EY got quite a few seniors and manager transfer from KL lor

Please lo

NTU, NUS, SMU young graduates now finding, flipping, searching then vouching an invoice is super boring lor

Smart can join gov like AGO

Also young graduates find the pay like $4K too low

Unregistered 30-03-2024 10:52 AM

Why audit partners in their age 40s and 50s now very afraid to go do fieldwork like searching for invoice and vouching invoice?

Tell me why are they so afraid?

Too weak? Too old? No energy?

Have too many family commitments? Need to take care of elderly parents and young children?

Unregistered 30-03-2024 10:54 AM

LMAO LOL

Big4 better offer higher paycheck for young graduates

If not, we will see uncles and aunties in their 40s and 50s doing vouching fieldwork during peak period

Now that the entire ACC major is no longer attractive, the crown of an unfavoured course loses its shine as well. People rather be a second lower in CS than a CA in ACC.

The entire premise is flawed and needs to be reworked.

This is one of the handful of fields which require additional study after graduation. (Strike One)

It is also well known the hours are long, and toxic people are trying to disguise 3am as 'normal' when no where else in the world expects such commitment levels. (Strike Two)

And the starting salaries as published by the university graduate employment surveys shows accounting as one of the bottom 5 for NTU. (Strike Three - OUT)

They already revised paychecks in the last 2 years, but it's not enough.

No, working to 3am is something your body can only take in your 20s and maybe early 30s.

You can't be doing that to your 40s and 50s.
