Does anyone knows if in-house internal auditors need to OT or not?

depends but usually rarely. i know 1 person who has to OT often because she had to travel frequently to the different branches.

no need OT unless there is an increase scope of work.
e.g. travelling to different subsi, or company hire another independent internal auditor to cover other scopes. You will liaise with the other independent auditor, making urself OT.

progression is slower also. if ur boss dun leave, u wont get promoted.

Y'all know there's lifelong individual contributor roles with decent pay and wlb outside right? Since not everyone is manager material nor wants to be one. You should be wondering why is it normal to tekan ppl in audit until they break in 1-5 years for peanuts, until anyone who likes the job scope is viewed as siao.
