Actually that guy is kind of right.
Unless your hackerearth specifically says you cannot alt tab or copy-paste code, it's not wrong.
I'm from the 2021 July batch and for my time it was hackerrank. On the email it specifically said we can use our own IDE as long as our webcam and microphone is on so that's what I did.
I used VSCode, code it up, check if it works then copy paste my solution onto hackerrank DBS to pass my test cases.
Anyway good luck, I don't know what telegram group you guys are talking about.
Personally I just connect with SEEDers on linkedin and ask them directly instead of asking a bunch of random people on here or on telegram with fake names / userID.

the hackerearth was a recent change only, for this upcoming batch
all the batches before always did it on hackerrank one, and the questions are more or less the same... if u see nodeflair, they even exposed the questions ( i dunno why is this legal... its technically cheating no? )
s://nodeflair.com/blog/dbs-seed-programme
the hackerearth are actually for the indian seeders: s://.hackerearth.com/challenges/competitive/dbs-campus-hack-2-hire-2021/
they give it to india hack2hire people also,
i really dunno why this new batch need to use hackerearth, the question structure etc all very different. u guys only got 2 hours to do all right? hackerrank got 4 questions, each question got 1-2 hours that u can start anytime, anyday and finsh one.
its not 4 hours for 4 questions one shot de.
