Unregistered Hi, I recently got an invited for a 60 min video conference interview via Zoom for SW2 role. Will there be technical or leetcode question for the first interview?

Thanks for sharing!

Heard that usually the only way to join is Code for Good hackathon? Do you know the leetcode difficulties too fi any for security engineer? Or if OSCP is useful?

Why u want to go into banks when you are an IT person?
Why becomes a support role? It wont pay u that well if you are a support role. And you will be on chopping board when the economy does badly, word of advice, go find IT company.

No Lah far fetch. The payout btwn an AVP in DBS and an associate in JP, is a big gap.
An Associate in DBS, annual payout is around $100K. An AVP is been paid $250K annually.

Even if we assumed the other candidate was offered on the day you had your last interview, it'd take at least a month for that chap to be onboarded (giving time for background checks and the other guy serving his notice period) - and that's the best case assuming his notice period is just one month.

It's more likely the recruitment wasn't treated as an urgent hire. Anyway, did you accept the offer eventually? What dept was the role in?
Possible someone didn't accept, but also possible something funny happened because someone internal didn't want to make it obvious they want to filter people who know their practices. So orchestrating a failed probation isn't out of the equation. Depends which team or division. Not unusual to see scapegoats here.
