For example I’m a MX10 now and that’s my max grade. Will I be downgraded be a MX11 and retired as MX11 at 62yo. Reason being, if downgraded, salary will also be cut. However, if not downgraded and remain as MX10, my workload is too much for a 62yo. Heck! It’s even too much for a 55yo.

My dept doesn’t have anyone who work till 62. Most of them left around 55yo coz of heavy workload. But I can’t retire at 55yo coz I have young kids.

you dun want to work like mx10 but want mx10 salary? jlb

Can confirm 3750 is the starting pay for a fresh grad 2nd upper cause I received that when I started in 2021.

paiseh. That’s for male.

I understand from my female colleague who joined same time as me with similar background, she received 3.3.

However, there was a starting salary review then which pushed it up a little for both of us.

Anyone feels that civil service are lowly paid? In comparing to the median salary, we are lagging behind. Stats show the average degree holder with 15 YOE is already 10k/month but most civil servants would not even come close to this
