Hi, thanks for the reply :) This is heartening to know because I was getting a little demoralised.. From the other replies in the forum it seems like most people got contacted within a few days for site preview. I am still waiting for them to contact me and tomorrow is the one week mark from my first interview. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Congrats by the way!!

hi. for affordable and decent smartphone, you can try iNO3. about 300+++.

If you dont mind removing the camera from your iphone or samsung, it is allowed too. Can find any ahbeng shop and help you remove.

That's great news :) What position did you apply for? If you don't mind me asking.

Is it normal to be selected for the psychometric test 30 minutes after application?

I know this probably been answered but what can I expect for the test?

practice some calculus and trigonometry. binomial theorem and some Laplace transformation.

All kidding aside, go google verbal reasoning. Basically reading a paragraph, and answer which statement is true. One simple example. Jane is a girl.

a. Jane is a female
b. Jane is a male
c. The earth is female.
d. The female is james.

This is a retarded example. its much harder than this.

And one more test i cant say the test name. Its like pattern recognition. More on shapes.

and btw 30 mins means the HR just happen to be free and saw your mail. nothing special.

I applied for my job, 2 days later received an email to ask me schedule a PT. I scheduled it abt 2wks later. 2wks after PT, I was called up for an interview for a date 2 days later. As I couldn't make it for the date scheduled, I request to schedule it another wk later.

On the day of the interview, I did a written test followed by a panel interview of 4. N I must say 15mins thru the interview, it should more or less determine whether u r their ideal candidate. The whole interview took more an 1hr. Partly also due to me asking many questions, I always felt it's not just about whether the company wants me, but I also about whether the job suits me.

A question I asked at the interview itself turned into a situation where I was immediately offered the job. Just before leaving the room, I asked the interviewee "what's the next step, after this interview?". Immediately my interview extended by another 15mins, my "boss" told me that if I'm willing to wait outside, while he interview his next candidate, he can take me on a site visit the same day n HR can do the offer.

N yes, so I waited 1hr for the site interview n thereafter he told me that as i wait for HRs offer, I can submit my resignation letter in my current job. He helped me chase for my medical n security which was cleared in abt 2wks

The rest is now history, as I've been a dxo for quite a while!

May i ask what qns did you ask that nailed the interview?

Anybody completed test in June and waiting for news from HR?
