Yes you're right though there are probably more VPs, Directors and Managers.

Plus, there is also Finance AMs which probably earn between 75k - 100k++.

For e.g. in my company, global mnc in pharma industry, the Asia Finance team look like this:

Director, Finance for Asia (this is the regional finance head) = >$1mil

But a lot depend on whether the company anyhow inflate title. For e.g. some companies can just anyhow throw director/vp/svp/sm title to all sorts of people, I like to look at hierarchy instead of job title.

Working in Big 4
 
Hi all!

I've graduated this year and will be starting work soon at one of the Big 4.

To be honest, I'm quite worried if I'll be able to adapt to the working hours, whether I will screw up and be a burden to my team etc. I've only held a few short term part time jobs in the past, therefore I'm scared about the uncertainty about holding my first full time job, especially since I don't have the experience of working long hours before.

I'm not complaining, I know what to expect going into this job, I'm just scared about how I will adapt to working life.

Anyone has had a similar experience before or can give some advice? Does everyone adapt really quickly to working life? Is it normal to be worried about being able to adapt?

It's pretty normal to be nervous/worried as a fresh grad going into the working world. If you have worked in an office setting before, you'll be better equipped to getting ready for the grind, as compared to someone with zero working experience. The hours are not as long as you will imagine, with people around you pulling the same hours, it's quite bearable.

i don't know why but i feel that most of the big4 staff are treated as revenue generators and earning below average salaries. salaries appear higher as one progresses but do take note that it includes aws....

Most positions below partner in Big4 are not revenue generators. They are merely process implementors that can easily be replaced by anyone out there in the market with some exp, that's why Big4 concentrates most of their salary & bonus budgets on the partners.

EY average performer - 1.3
KPMG average performer - 1.5
PWC average performer - 2

Dunno about DT but unlikely to be better than EY and KPMG.
