Anyone know the recent salary progression starting as a fresh grad?

Currently I am working as a Research Analyst (1 y experience ) at a Japanese Bank. However, the work space here is so slow and I prefer a client-facing job. Therefore, I am studying CPA for a career switch to Audit, hopefully to land a job at one Big 4.

Due to personal reason, I am 27 already. I am wondering whether there is any chance to apply to Big 4 as a mid-career professional without any audit experience?

I graduated from a small university in Japan, not in Singapore.
I hope to receive some insights from all of you.

You will enter as a fresh grad associate A1, that is if you get offered.

Are you joining as mid-career professional in Big4?

My question is: Does Big 4 recruit people who have work experience in not related field as audit assistant in Singapore?
I have checked the big 4's career site and it seems that they only have recruitment program for fresh graduate.
The issue here is I am not fresh graduate any more so I am wondering whether there is any career fair or open recruitment where I can apply to big 4.

I apprecite any information from you.

You are eligible to apply for graduate positions as these usually accommodate those with up to 2 years experience. And yes, you would join as an associate as someone with 1 year experience typically does not show much difference from a fresh grad.

You can apply for fresh grad positions, but priority will always be given to undergrads from the 3 proper local unis. In this downturn when the applicants >> openings, I think is almost no chance.

In short, can apply but don't bank on it and invest your time and energy in applying for other jobs. If you are serious in audit, try mass sending applications to all the mid tier audits, that is where the real chance is.

Yes, you can still apply to join the Big 4. If you have the relevant experience (eg your CPA), you will be taken in as A1 aka fresh grad level. Your 1 year of previous experience will be discarded as it is not audit related.

I recently got offered by PwC as an associate. I'm a fresh graduate. Can anyone share what's the recent salary increment?

The last one I saw is dated April 24th,

Latest update from PWC
Assoc 1: 3k - 4k
Assoc 2: 4k - 4.5k
SA1: 4.5k - 6k
SA2: 6k - 7.5k

How long does it normally take to get from Assoc 1 to SA2?
