Depends on luck, some days 9am-11pm, some days 9am-4am

You can leave whenever you want and preferably when you found a good job.

The recommended optimal points if you draw a curve of effort, reward and opportunity are S2 and M1. (Either end of 3 or 5 years)

Jump out at senior level you typically look for senior executive or assistance finance manager role at best. Only heard of a handful who managed to get FM level. 3 YOE w/o commercial experience quite hard.

Leave as Manager you got better odds of getting FM role. BUT you will run into the problem some companies cannot or refuse to match your last drawn cause you no commercial experience, dun even know how to use SAP properly.

Typically people try to clock both audit and commercial experience before landing their dream job lol.

Step 1 to changing the industry: Abolish this 4am culture.

It’s scaring the young ones away.

Times have changed. 10 years ago you have people bragging about 4am like a badge of honor. Now people have seen through it and don’t want to work those hours.
