Which bank? I know the US banks barring Citi, no way. UBS, maybe but I have never heard of SIM kids joining the bank outright.

Unless you have connections or are very pretty, I would say the chances of this happening is 1%.

Yah loh. Too low. My friend flunked his O level and got only his PSLE cert. He is doing 90k per month in the financial industry. With your ITE cert, you should demand 120k to 150k per month

There was a joke many years ago how ITE = "It's The End"

Many of my ITE friends laughed at that. They say, ITE actually stands for "InTelligent & Elite". Every single one of them make 6 digits per month. During our meet ups they always talk about how ITE can earn 6 digits per month, then they laugh at me for studying until Uni and only earn 6 figures a year.

I did feel quite demoralised, until one day I happened to meet my best friend Hock Seng on his payday. He proudly showed me his payslip, "Hey XXX, see my payslip! 6 digits as usual bro!"

I discovered that with about 20 hours of OT pay in Jan, Hock Seng had earned $1367.35 for the month of Jan, which was a 6 digit salary.
