Salary.sg Forums - For those with 2-5 YOE, what is your salary?

Age 28 this year, master degree in CS, graduated in 2022. All base exclude bonus and stock
2020 - 2.5k, researcher in uni
2021 - 7k, move to industry to do swe
2022 - 7.8k, increment
2023.1 - 9.1k, promoted
2023.2 - 12k, change job (I'm writing this post while in the notice period and have nothing to do lol)

Just read for fun leh. In addition the TC matter more than monthly salary. e.g. in 2022 I had 7 month bonus, so the real TC is >> 7.8k.

Always easy to tell when someone is BSing.

TC = total compensation. In 2022, your real TC is >> 7.8k? What the fk are you smoking?

It's possible to do a Masters part time. A lot of companies support this. Though, generally, don't expect an increment that year as you cannot commit fully to work. Anyway this person's progression sounds sus, just joined new company, go and do masters and get $800 increment + 7 month bonus? Not quite believable.

not the poster but he meant 7.8k base but with bonus so gross is much more than 7.8k?
