Pretty standard, varies from 40hrs/week on a good one to 43-45hrs on a busy one. Pay rises due to nego of pay and recent job hop

M&A investment banking, US bank

TC:

year 1 - 240k
year 2 - 290k
year 3 - 350k

y1: 3500 + 13mth + 2.5 bonus
y2: 3630 + 13 mth + 3.0 bonus
y3: thinking if i should job hop, increment not out yet.

any advice on trajectory?

Age 28 this year, master degree in CS, graduated in 2022. All base exclude bonus and stock
2020 - 2.5k, researcher in uni
2021 - 7k, move to industry to do swe
2022 - 7.8k, increment
2023.1 - 9.1k, promoted
2023.2 - 12k, change job (I'm writing this post while in the notice period and have nothing to do lol)

Just read for fun leh. In addition the TC matter more than monthly salary. e.g. in 2022 I had 7 month bonus, so the real TC is >> 7.8k.

Graduated masters in 2022 means 2020 & 2021 working part time?
