Cmon guys. Stop wishing upon the stars. Pay is commensurate with the work involved. Payments is MO and pay for FT is 6k (s://.mycareersfuture.gov.sg/job/banking-finance/2021-corporate-investment-bank-%E2%80%93-wholesale-payments-corporate-banking-full-time-analyst-program-%E2%80%93-singapore-jpmorgan-chase-bank-na-8a717d03cfb8071cb4a87b48f5c309ed?source=MCF&event= RecommendedJobJD), the 11k figure for 2022 summer posting is the total you will earn over the summer based on pro-rata of FT (ie. some HR ****ed up inputting the number).

Stop wishing there's an IB pay job in finance that doesn't require effort, it simply doesn't exist!

Have to make all these payment jokesters wake up their idea. If you haven't worked hard enough during your uni days, you expect to break into an actual high finance role?

See this link here showing the $4-8k range for Payments Analyst.

Wake up your idea la. You wanna earn 12k sure can in payments but get your 5 years of experience first to compensate your skiving during uni days.

Its not a secret high finance isnt rocket science; you have people with subpar A levels in top tier firms. It requires more of resilience and social skills. These prop traders are math olympiads/cs nerds and will be eaten alive in a social setting by bankers.

That's super copium. Who cares about social setting. They'd be socializing with more than millions in their bank account 5 years in while bankers with their quadruple eyebags have their 500k stuck in index fund after 5 years in.
