Freeze till next rank maybe small increment for inflation adjustment. Got see many seniors all hentak kaki at M1 and end up wage cap around 6k. Some even in 40s still M1, quite sad.

Also I think its cause you are contract worker, try convert to FT. Also I had multiple years of good performance, if average performer I think I would be a few hundred lower and still be an E6, thats why my pay is same as yours despite age difference.

Real cute. I'm FCH CS NUS 2003. U think u are the only FCH in this whole world?

You got FCH in a dumping ground post dot com big deal. You probs got low balled right out of the gate which leads you to today. CS nus in 2003 in no way resembles CS nus in the modern day. If you told me you were an FCH nus in 2019 then the story would be altogether different. If you were truly top tier material you wouldn't end up in a contract role at STE lmao. Hence your salary.

2019 fch big ****inf deal. What till you meet the fch class of 2030.
You'll be at the same stage now complaining that 2030 fresh grad starting pay is 10k while you are barely 9k.

Possibly true, but if im still working in my 40s then I must be doing something wrong right? I'm single and have no commitments. Personally I've been diligently saving and investing since my nsf days and hopefully on track to retire in my early to mid 40s, albeit on a middle or lower middle income lifestyle.

Or who knows maybe ill stay on, STE is a retirement village anyways. Also there are literal Nus CS FCH fresh grads making 1.5x of my salary right now so we dont really need to wait till 2030 lmao

Tsk. I own my own e commerce company. I buy cheap. Sell high. Earn profit. I am millionaire at 29. You all FCH only 5.1k at 31 yo. I think you worked your entire life also won't be able to reach 1 million.

haha good for you bro. Actually I join STE for the relax culture because during ns I realize im not the high flyer achiever kind just the slack kind of person. Good that your risk taking work out for you. For me I prefer much safer, save salary go invest buy VUSD,QQQ max out share scheme. Think I can hit millionaire status in my late 30s looking forward to retire in my mid 40s :).

I see some of my classmates become sole props some huat like siao got sme, some failed miserably end up bankrupt. I rather be average, have iron rice bowl.
