Yes. They now hire fusion(for poly) instead nucleus (for degree) because cut cost ( 1 nucleus equal 2 fusion)

Is it normal that fresh grads are thrown into new project and automatically become the lead developer for one end? IE only person working on that end

Maybe, their strategy for the start of this financial year was to cut hiring budget for fresh grads. Take the nucleus batch of FY 21/22 and FY 22/23(current batch) for example. Nucleus starting salary measured by annual compensation for FY 21/22 is 72280 for average performer while FY 22/23 is 66720 for average performer.

With the recent slowdown in tech sector, there might be possibility of them cutting their hiring budget even further.

Fusion hires too cheap compared to Nucleus hires what to do, race to the bottom in manpower costs as the supply of tech grads overtake the demand for entry level positions.

i have yet to see supply overtake demand, even for entry level positions, pay still remains high for capable grads, this just sounds like FUD to me. but maybe for ncs the supply is overtaking demand cause cant get capable ppl ba

There are thousands of grads applying for entry level tech jobs in today's market, NCS cant be choosy though because of its bad rep and low pay. As the saying goes, if you pay peanuts, you get monkeys.

Contract Staff in NCS

Does NCS keep permanent records of their ex-contract staff (staff who are outsourced from external companies but work for NCS as client) ?
