meinhardt (singapore) pte ltd is offering 8.5k/mth salary for principal engineer.

it's in civil engineering.

i work in a very slow paced sme. stagnating....

however, i'm getting cold feet at joining public/civil service - bureaucratic way of life.
would there be lots of reporting?
endless presentations?

my current workplace in pte sector is rather "slack".
understand in civil service is more rigid?

i'd like to ask if people reading this thread have experienced switching from pte to public sector.

was it easy or a complete culture shock?
