Win-win for all. Dont forget free CAs were given out in the past via 5 day workshop. Since if the ultimate goal is to have more CA members, dont see any problems with having exam route for those who want the CA faster while also giving a chance to those to obtain it via clocking CPE hours + years of exp.

Lifelong learning. It shoulden even be there. Even us is lower the requirement for cpa exam..?

Totally agree. Can just clock CPE hours and experience is what it matters. Win-win for all is to have accelerated programme for those who took the exam to get CA faster, while the rest get the option to convert after gaining a few years of exp + CPE hours.
