Even if you are fortunate to have $2 to $3m in fully paid assets, it is no big shakes and one still has to keep working to pay the bills. To be very honest, I am asset rich and cash poor.

Have you considered becoming self-employed? The road to freedom is actually NOT working your butt off to enrich your boss (who earns more than you btw) or the MNC (whose major shareholders also earn more than you).

46yo what self employed? Too many risks to lose what I already have. My inheritable assets were built with my dad when I worked in the family business and I am sole heir, no siblings.

I may try being an RE agent to sniff out investment deals but that also not stable and burn nights and weekends, requires me to grovel to the ground asking ppl to buy and sell property, knowing that their net worth is not even 1/10 of mine. Hmmmmmm.

Wondering abt investments with 8% yield doing nothing???? too good to be true?

Just a thought

Hi guys,

First time into the forum, it's definitely interesting to see the various figures that some of you have. It is just amazing how some of you can amass such figures at your corresponding age now.

Ever thought of doing angel investing to young entrepreneurs and probably taking it as a challenge to help him/her grow to probably half as good as you if not even better? Just a thought.

Its net of loan for property.
So Net Worth 2.6M

But you cannot retire with this amount. Need at least 5M net worth, 3 M cash to survive in Spore
