how come asset networth so low? with this household income you should start to invest more.

both me and wife (mid 30s) are earning > 200k pa.
currently owning 2 private each (total 4), with 2 fully paid and other 2 50% paid

no plans for early retirement (still having good worklife balance), just want to leave more assets for my children

Wonder why you pay extra tax on own 2 private each.

That's really uncalled for. You think those who are earning less (that definitely made up of the majority of the working population) would declare their salary here? What an inconsiderate privileged person you are.

thats the minimum tax i can paid to own multiple properties.
if both of us own 4 together (instead of 2 each), absd itself will kill us

renting 2 out, 1 under development. so still ok

Ok; the minimun tax is still alot because you are set back by a few hundred K.

But as you said you are leaving assets to your children.

Can I ask what is the value of your property and how much are you receiving in rental? Just trying to do the math to see if it is worthwhile investing in real estate vs. stock market.

staying in a 3 bedder

renting 2 1 bedder out with 1.7k (bought at 580k) and 2k (bought at 700k) rental each. property tax is 1.2k and 1.5k. MA fee is 220 each.
another 1 bedder (650k) under construction

all freehold
