maybe rescind is cos that particular BU dont need ppl alr la. obviously it wont affect all the departments.

did you get a written email? i got a call that they would be rescinding my offer and will send an official email but i have yet to receive it.

do u mean what track? I heard that the interview experience differed for different people - some got offered after a 5 mins HR interview while some had a few rounds of interviews with the specific team/mentor that they are going to be working with. what was yours?

Even if they tell you it’s not gonna help. Just wait for HR email, if they don’t send out this week I suggest you to start looking for other jobs.

Just received the assessments. Pretty late this year as i’d submitted my application a month ago. Guess they were busy dealing with all the hiring freeze etc.

hahaha when you're in the workforce longer, you will realise that assessments / interviews mean nothing. sometimes companies already have in mind someone that they want to hire (mostly through connections) and publish job postings and send out interviews just to meet MOM requirements of fair hiring.

look at the big bulges like goldman or credit suisse, they have freeze hiring for months but you still see new job postings floating around...
