This is surprising.. that UOB is offering higher than the other banks (e.g. DBS, Citi, OCBC, etc.)

From what I heard:
OCBC (grad programme): 3.8k (not 100% sure though. they don't offer MA programme to fresh grad)
DBS: approx 4.3k
Citi: approx 4.5k
etc

In general, banks' MA programmes offer between 4k to 5k.

Anyone knows if 4.7k is fixed across all departments? Or does it only apply to front office roles

u rotate across HR and everything else.

front office roles dont mean anything in commercial banking.

if you are good enough to land fo roles in ib, you will be making 10k+

Unregistered 20-03-2015 12:48 PM

I went for interview a month ago.. emailed UOB and no reply.
People received rejection in earlier stage at least got their closure, but we just left behind waiting and waiting.

Unregistered 20-03-2015 01:21 PM

Efficiency..........

Unregistered 20-03-2015 01:22 PM

Or the lack thereof........

Unregistered 21-03-2015 12:15 AM

emailed too but no reply. highly suspect they are still interviewing. went for my interview last week

Unregistered 21-03-2015 02:31 PM

I thought it'd be basic respect to reply emails. or at least, an email blast to notify candidates that the interview processes are still ongoing. At least my co does that.

Unregistered 21-03-2015 03:52 PM

Local bank standard, what do you expect

Interviews are a 2 way process, not just for the employer to gauge you but also for you to assess them. Take note of the little things which can tell you a lot on hindsight usually..

Unregistered 24-03-2015 10:43 AM

Anyone got updates?
Btw i heard from HR that even you are not chosen for the MA Programme, they would offer an alternative Senior Officer role subjected to interview and availability. How True is this? Anyone heard the same?

Unregistered 24-03-2015 08:32 PM

no updates. not sure about that
