Yep rejection email. Rejection rarely come from phone call 1 la, quite paiseh. Is either don't tell you or tell you via email

What's the difference between graduate associate and management associate actually?

GA is like the sergeant, MA is the officer, if you understand army context. Typically, those in the MA programme are groomed to be future managers

I got an invite to do a video interview as part of my application to the Young Bankers Programme at OCBC.

I would like to ask if anyone has taken this interview or any video interview with OCBC and what questions were asked during the interview? How many questions were there?

How much time are we given to answer each question and how much time are we given to prepare for each question?

How many attempts are we allowed for each other question?

Were they strengths-based questions or competency-based questions? Or both?

What advice do you have on how to best prepare for the interview?

I applied on the 19th of April and they contacted me 5 days later.

I heard back 5 days after I applied so I am guessing it may take a few days for you to hear back from them. I have two interviews in the coming days so I apologise that I may not be able to discuss this further with you in the coming days but I may be able after that depending on whether I will have more interviews soon.

Then who are the enlistees? lol if everyone is the sergeant then no one is a 'sergeant leader' in the true sense of the word.

I got into SEED programme which starts in 2 months. starting pay is 3K +. poly grad here. May I know if people are getting around the same?

Had an impression SEED paid much higher than that... like 4k range for a developer role

I think SEED gets paid the same rate as GA programme which is 3.8

But i've heard rumours that it is around 4k, which is almost the MA rate of 4.25

Not sure about the MA, SEED is about 4K+

Means SEED also take in diploma holders and offered 3k+ while degree 4k+

May I know all SEED participants will be working in DBS's changi business park? Cuz I stayed in clementi :(

for me, Changi business park also.
I stay sembawang, wondering if they have company transport?

Perhaps you can email Piyush Gupta and ask him to move DBS from CBP to clementi to better fit your travelling routine.

OR

You could grow up, learn that the world doesn't revolve around you. Rent a room near CBP if you like the job or look for another job in clementi.

Is the DBS Graduate Associate – Small Medium Enterprise (SME) Banking purely based on sales?

Anybody can share more insights on this vs the Ops graduate associate.

There is a new program this year as well Graduate program for Consumer bank.

Hi guys, would like to seek your helpful opinions here. I graduate in august 2018 and will start work in a company (not a bank) during september 2018 as i was offered. However my real interest is in joining the DBS GA programme.

From a HR perspective is it appropriate if i still apply for the DBS GA prog when it opens during september 2018 as well? Dunno if it will affect my chances cause i am already in employment as at point of application.

P.S i accepted the offer because at least when i start to apply for DBS and go thru the lengthy process, i am working and earning income in the meantime.
