That guy is bluffing you. GA Ops is not 5k monthly, I am very sure.

I got a few friends inside right now ( 2021 and 2022 batches ), they told me that highest they saw was 4.8k a month which is 57600 SGD base-pay and that's after "negotiations", the default was 4.5k monthly, 54000 SGD annual.

Also yes there's pay increment, it's not fixed. You can expect 3-7% a year, comes with bonus also, about 2-3 months.

If this helps, this is some of my GA ops friends progressions,

2021 Jan intake ( 4500 monthly ) -> 2022 March pay increment ( 4804 monthly )
2022 July intake ( 4500 monthly ) -> 2023 March pay increment ( 4662 monthly )

Heard that DBS no longer offers management associate program in view that MAs are too expansive but useless?

With the poor economy outlook. looks like it will no longer come back? Fresh grad here looking to graduate this year and get into MA banking programs ....

Competitors UOB and OCBC much smaller but still have MAs program! .... looks like they are much better!
