What a waste of my time applying as a masters degree candidate

I am double PHD so i got accepted into T&M. But i feel like i a bit too old compared to other candidates since it took me 9 yrs to finish, but we shall see how HR handles me

HR told me unless you are double PHD or if you are masters with 9 yrs experience, it is gonna be a uphill battle...

Bro what is your type of postgrad degree?

I got indicative offer last week too. SMU MBA. 16 years working experience.

The background check may take 3 weeks.

bro, congrats on your offer! if I may ask, why would you be interested in a rotation program if you have 16 years of work experience under your belt?

this type of program is intended and catered to people who are early in their career journeys and hence want to explore and experience.

you would also be working with, assessed and compared against other EMAPs who are at a very different career phase as you.

If DBS is only recruiting people with 10-15yrs experience then he/she would be competing against similar people

Simple analogy. Was with a investment bank. Local bank offers the job safety now which can be made used. After the downturn is over in 1,2 years. I will jump bank to investment banks.

What a great batch of EMAPs DBS would be taking in as their pioneers!
