Hi Guys,

Just thought i'll start up the thread for the DBS Management Associate Program 2015.
There are a number of streams available for grads and it looks like a quite well structured program.

Anyone has any idea of the work culture, remuneration etc or just some general feedback on this program.

I just completed my Video Interview last week and still awaiting news.
Anyone heard anything after the video yet?

i'm also interested to find out how long the wait is between video interview and the result.

AC next week! any tips?

Just a heads up from what I learnt from a friend. They intend to run about 10 ACs with 8 people each. The first few ACs have already been conducted last week, with interviews running concurrently.

Is AC given immediately after video interview?

nope.. invite will come one week after but yes AC is the second last stage of the whole process

For MA programmes do i need to study accountancy/business in nus or ntu?

Heard from a friend's friend that pay is 3.2k for second lower

Doesn't matter. SMU/NUS/NTU will all be fine. But SMU tends to train its students better for banks (e.g. interview training, etc.).

Do the management associate programmes usually pay higher than say, business analysts for fresh grads in the same respective banks?

i cant say the same for the management associates of other banks but for DBS' MAs, their starting pay is higher than what the average analysts receive.

DBS normal analyst range from 4-4.5k, MAP pay higher from 4.8-7.2k

Who are you smoking? Citi MA pay is 4.5k, DBS starts at 4.8?

DBS analyst are paid about 3k++.

Their MAs 4K at the most.

Can the people not in the bank/industry STFU?

This is utter rubbish. It's posts like this which make me cringe; stop providing wrong information to others! DBS MA pay is around $4.3k/mth.

applied for 2016, completed video interviews and awaiting outcome

Since last year offer was 4825 then assume increase is 5% this year offer should be $5050 - $5100... Good luck to all who apply.

any tips on what kind of questions they asked you?:)

situational based. give an example of a situation where you faced blablabla and how you dealt with it. what was the outcome. Can't remember the details but it requires you to think on the spot. and do more on DBS research as a whole.

oh! those sound tough! I heard DBS loves to give some funny or weird questions. Is this true? :(

I would say they are pretty fast in responding. Submitted my application on the 6 oct and received the video invitation within a week.
