Nope. But I've already did my medical on the same day of my interview session (maybe because I'm a Malaysian). And for you to get the reply today, and no reply to me, means that I don't get the job laa.

Hai everyone. Congrats to those received the pre-employment check email, only half way to go. I think most of us did the interview in first week of March and it took about a month for the HR to process and still finalizing the candidates I believed so. Mine via skype. Whatever the result is please be patient and don’t ever give up. However I am having a little problem to follow their timeline to complete the medical checkup by 20th of April since I am currently outstation for work and will only be back on 25th. I have sent the email to the HR to consider my situation and yet to receive any replies. Btw I am Malaysian and I hope to see more Maiaysian will be joining also I could not wait to meet new colleagues from other countries as well. Good luck on your check-up guys! Wish you all the best!

P/S : To Malaysians planning to stay in Singapore, let’s get connected and discuss about it shall we? 😁

If you guys are wondering why Thailand HR is taking a long time to respond, they just had Songkran Festival over the weekend.

Don't expect them to be fast with your inquiries.

Also, for those coming in soon, enjoy your outside food (and freedom) while you can, especially for those heading into shift work.

No wonder.. but what do you mean by enjoy while we can before coming in? Does the shift work will be lifeless? The interviewer mentioned the shift will be 2 days work 8am - 8pm @ 8pm - 8 am and 2 days off. Should we expect to perform the OT and will only have a day off like most of the time? As a start they will first send the newcomers for training at HQ (8.30pm - 5.30pm) for few months to make sure we are full equipped with the knowledge then only they send to either petrochemical or refinery, that's what they said. Do you work there? How is it like? How long have you been working?

If you're a fussy picker in terms of food quality, you'll understand what I meant eventually. Otherwise not really a life-threatening issue, generally a QoL factor for some people.

OT will be depending on your shift teams strength and also for the roles required, but you will not be doing it immediately. Only once your supervisor deems you're experienced and reliable enough for the role, then you'll be eligible called up for OT.

As for the questions I left out, I'm not obliged to answer and it is up to you to figure it out. Cheers.
