If a candidate is unable to pass the test, then you might not be what Mindef is looking for - can't be they spend limited time and resources to entertain everyone who applied right?

Hi, thx for sharing the thought. I do agreed that they need to select suitable candidate to perform the role required. Just wonder how the test would determine the shortlisted candidates. Score? how many questions being attended? Or... ?? By doing the personality test, how does it determine one's character..

TIA

That should be classified info and also would vary according to the position applied for.

PSychomatric test

Hi,
May anyone share some examples of reasoning test and raven matrices test questions? Is calculator allowed? Do we attempt the test questions on hard copy paper or via computer? Are pens and papers provided if calculator is not allowed? Are we allowed to skip question and revisit later?

Thanks

I doubt anyone here memorised the passages of the reasoning test since there's severe time constraint to complete it.. Raven's can be easily googled. It's all on those old school OMR sheets where you shade the bubbles. No calculators needed. No specific restrictions on how you go about finishing the questions.

Anyone knows the avg no of candidates shortlisted for interview? Saw around 3-4 other ppl interviewing for the same position as me.. is this the norm or will there be more rounds of interview?
