I did my psychometric test on 7 Sep and there has been no word since - including rejection.

All those who are waiting, I suggest don't pin all your hopes on this. Just move on with your other applications/current job and in the event your application goes through, they will call you up.

Same circumstances here, last psycho test done on 7 Sep and got no response back (including rejection) till date.

I did not apply for any of the technical roles - just the general ones in the categories listed on their website.

I think the job listing on the website only has 5 job families/specialisations.. I don't think there is such a thing as general role or technical role..

International and ops. Is this a factor in the time taken for them to call for interviews though?

IMO someone might have been spewing BS earlier..lol..Coz there is no such thing as 'technical' specialisation. There is 'Technology' spec though. Anyway almost all five job families are quite 'technical' in their own different ways, very specialised fields in each own ways. So it sounds quite BS really, when someone mention about ' general' and 'technical' specs..

or that he blindly apply without knowing what he is applying to. which is impossible as definitely SID wants someone who are critical and meticulous. if this kind of mistake or carelessness or ignorance is done this early then SID wouldve employed the wrong kind of person for the job.

i cannot imagine anyone applying for SID had not done their due research and if SID accept them then its a serious mistake man...

Looking at the recent posts of the people applying, can get a sense that the SID is gonna be another cui department

This poster has a valid point.. Come to think of it - if any Tom, Dick or Harry could easily get selected to attend the interviews and possibly meet the top dogs, pretty soon everyone will know who the Director of SID is. So i think it won't be that straighforward/easy..

I won't be surprised that applicants need to pass security clearance just to get invited to attend interviews then.. Since SID is such a highly sensitive dept.

I just asked my pal in SID, she said that they have not started the interview process yet.

Hey guys, I’m a fresh grad and I applied for a DXO Assistant Manager post a week back, but I haven’t got any calls or emails from them yet. Can I ask what’s the timeline like for Mindef HR to get back? I’ve also applied for a few other jobs within Govt sector and most have gotten back to me.

HR initially gets back pretty fast if you are eligible. Within 1-2 weeks to schedule you for psychometric test. Afterwards... lol it's been 1 year since my psychometric test and I still haven't heard a whisper from them. I don't think I failed because when I took a IQ test for a scholarship, it came back quite above average. Luckily I took up another job offer after waiting for 5 weeks.

Still got no news from SID? Anyone got any info😏
