Lol I’m not from the firm and I’m just here to find out more.
But reading some of these posts I get the feeling there are a bunch of other people like me and there is few or no one actually from the firm who is able to answer us. |

(including this post if u insist) the salary range for the same rank in the same firm differs because of various factors like the individual’s performance, department and years of prior experience. have a lovely weekend all y’all non-big 4 people :) and happy hustling over the weekend for real big4 people. |
This is roughly accurate- for consulting (non-core advisory).
But not deals (that one even higher)- this is business consulting pay (enterprise risk/tech risk) The other scale is audit pay. Quote:

Apologies for typo.
I can confirm the below as I have reliable info for my dept (consulting) for the below numbers, which is less than $100 off the numbers provided previously: A1- 4k A2- 4.4-4.5k S1- 5.3-5.5k S2- 5.8-5.9k AM- 6.2k-6.5k M1- 7.3-7.7k Please note that this is NOT assurance, this is for Business Consulting. The other message with the following seems to be assurance (audit) pay from what I hear. A1: $3.4-3.6k A2: $3.6-3.9k S1: $4.9-5.2k S2: $5.7-6.0k S3: $6.3-6.6k M1: $7-7.3k Please note that we had a adjustment in April this year with ~10% increases across board- understanding is that moving forward bonuses will be reduced (possibly no automatic 1 month bonus) in exchange for this. So this would likely account for the significantly higher pay compared to other B4. Quote:

First, let me apologize for my typo- the phrasing should have been "non-core assurance" as in non audit. I can attest to the figures given as they are within $100 of the figures i have seen on paper in my own department.
Let me just answer the below questions: Is it a guaranteed promotion to the next rank for every 1 year? Work 3 years then promoted to S2 with 5.8k? Work another 1 year promote to AM with 6.5k? - Generally yes, but this is contingent on acceptable performance and economy doing well. This year almost everyone got pushed up, but in 2020 bottom 25% didnt get it. Able to give the new pay scale for consulting (not SaT) in yellow? Thanks in advance! - The numbers that were listed (4k for A1, 4.4 for A2) IS the current consulting payscale. I heard SaT is even higher but no confirm figures. See the pay for A1 and A2 n suspect something wrong. - Nothing wrong. This is just the pay now. Note this is NOT audit pay (i think the other scale with 3.5-3.6k for A1 is audit payscale). Also note- EY had a adjustment earlier this year in April (mid-year) where everyone got 10% increments. They also stated that they would be moving away from bonus toward salary, so i have the feeling that next year the bonus will be much lower to compensate for this (this year was usual 2-3.5 months). |
how to retain in big 4? thought is linear progression from a1 to sm
