Thanks! Apologizes for the lack of clarity, I was actually referring to the salary range for a DCD of individual CC, rather than HQ level.

Thanks in advance!

There is no DCD in PAHQ because the the title is for staff working in the CC only.
Anyone can be a DCD (even someone without a degree) if you know whose arse to kiss.

Never ever work for PA if there is a choice. Pay is low, it's only after adding in the allowance that made it okay to live on
But that money is blood money, for all the over time you have to stay back, either for meetings, events or etc.
You will become ill-tempered with all the crap you have to deal with.
Cussing and swearing become nothing to you because there is no better way to describe
what you have to say.
I didn't heed the advice of a former CM and thought that I can do this job well.

Don't take my word for it and you can experience it yourself.
Oh and did I mention the overnight induction camps at OBS you have to go through?
It was really fun learning how to sleep in tents with cockroaches scurrying outside and having to canoe until you got sun burnt.

You have been warned.

Flexi benefit of $400 is for 1 year, not a monthly thing.
You can use if for dental, insurance, etc.
And your contract is up for renewal every year.

Thank you, for your kind reply.
I had the thinking its monthly lol..
so its yearly, hmm make sense.

For the contract Renewal, its only $50 increment i guess?
Any other benefits, given or entitle?

I used to work in PA for 3 years, and during my time with PA the RCMs do not have to go through induction camps. At most just day time workshops or briefings.

like what some of them said, the staff are really like lackeys. if you manage to find out that the cc have a high turnover rate, run far far away. do not be drawn in by the "elite" so-called reputation that it portrays.

we are supposed to serve the residents. but what we actually are doing is mainly bootlicking and stabbing one another.

RC Manager don't have to go through induction camp.
Your salary is paid partly by the RC and the RC chairman is the one whose @ss you
should kiss the most.
$1900 for a RC manager is on the high side, you are most likely to get around $1600 or $1700.
Not much in terms of benefits and if you talk to most DCD, they will tell you it's the worst job in PA.

Working in PA is difficult. Besides the long working hours and burnt weekends, one has to manage the delicate relationships with grassroots leaders. If unable to manage well, one will face much difficulty in his/her job. Besides this, there's also office politics to handle as most CC staff are old aunties and uncles who can be stubborn and nasty. Think twice before u join in.
