random HR query
not sure if this fits here. does anyone know what the HR procedure is like for job applications in banking? i know they screen from the applicant pool, but do they interview every potential candidate before making a choice or they simply stop interviewing once they've found someone? thanks!

I calculate per year (average total comp + bonus amount that I will likely receive based on past data.. not the bonus I actually gotten)
because this is what recruiters/headhunters care about, it's a very famous tech company so the bonuses are pretty much common knowledge Also I do get public stocks in the form of RSU, so it's included in the yearly fig as well. Not just pure cash bonuses. Btw I recently got bumped up to 7800 as a off cycle increment too. You don't say it's BS just cos u don't make so much, it happens. I can even provide my offer SS if u want lol |
Y1 - 5.5k/mth as software engineer. (Made 400k trading on the side using savings.)
Y2 - Quit job. Create tech startup. No earnings, business expenses covered by trading gains on the side. Y3 - Lost 100k in Y3. Business bad, trading losses due to covid. Y4 - Proj. 1-2mil this year. Business pick up, things going well. Total 4 YOE. |

Even all the aunties and uncles can make close to +100% trading during covid, you so upz projected to pocket 1-2mil in individual profits/remuneration can lose money rofl |
