lol, assoc only get paid 6-7k depending on how fast you get promoted. Analyst start at 5k. Pay rise this year only 4%. VPs will not earn 10k in their first few years too lol

See your luck on whether it's a good year or bad. Avg year, avg performer, tts about right for assoc or VP. High performer in a decent year, can be more. Assoc can hit 7k, first yr VP can hit 10. Not easy of course

huh? associate BO is not 10k, confirm

their pay cap is mid 7k. cannot go higher than that as an associate for BO. HR wont let it.

What about JP Morgan Associate?

I know DBS Associate is also 6-7k capped but I heard JP Morgan Associate, which they call it 601? or something, cap is 9k for BO? Is this true?

Take this information however you want. Oh ya btw your manager can leave early for reunion dinner though, just not the assoc and analyst :)

Im from gs…stayed still 430pm on cny eve

When I left at that time there are still colleagues sitting calmly at their desk as if they got no intention to leave anytime soon

But I’m drawing 6k+ as a junior analyst so I guess can’t complain

Did you join in 2021 and due to promote? 6k+ is not bad for analyst

Yup, the 2022 fresh grads made senior analysts and currently most are in high 5k range

If 2022 fresh grads are already drawing high 5k, as someone with close to 3 years experience, if I land a role, I should ask for at least 6k plus?

Depends on where you come from. Most of my colleagues who were lateral hires with 3-4 year experience in non JPM/MS had to content with 5k starting pay, same as fresh grads

Lol noobs

The trick is to say no even if they say its non negotiable. They will let u wait for a while, then crawl back to u with higher base, signing bonus incentives all

Unregistered 29-02-2024 08:05 AM

Does anyone happen to know if VP in ops get more than 1.5 months bonus? Heard that after one becomes VP, a bigger percentage of comps will be in bonus so wondering if it’s true
