No way. unless you are from some 3rd rated uni. most interns starting is around 5k already, FT is can literally double this amount.

Stop stirring sh*t. Seriously, it’s so obvious how people in these forums are no-lifers who rather spend time commenting “opinions” rather than improving themselves.

If you don’t know BB banks in SG pay intern FT pay, then you’re completely clueless. Anyway, I digress. JPM functional grad programs (GFBM, CADP, HR) etc starting pay is 5.25k last year. Not sure if they increased it this year but I’m betting they did given the competitive environment.

You say it as if you would get a high paying job just because you're from NTU / NUS when in reality, most of them are struggling to land jobs after graduating.

10k pay as fresh FT? yeah sure thing buddy.

GS ops still pay 5k a year only. Friends from 2023 and 2024 batch has told me the same amount. Unfortunately, it is the truth and it is not as high paying as people think.

Yeah exactly and JPM cadp 2023 starting was 5k as well. 2024 bump to 5.25k. But no where close to 6k like some may think. Furthermore all the banks conversion rates r very low this year, they’re really trying to save cost

GS is definitely not 60k pa anymore. Last batch have already been bumped up 65k which is why JPM had to up theirs to match the competition.

How’s this year bonus and increment for everyone? I got 1.2 months bonus and 5.5% raise. Kinda disappointed but not sure how’s the average this year

how would we know bro

bonuses and pay raise earliest you can find out is in mid feb, that's when banks run their financial report.

Clearly not from GS/JPM/MS. Bonuses and pay raises were announced latest this week. The percentage quoted is that of an avg performer for back office. Poor performers get close to 0 and better performers get a bit more. It's a shitty year for most

I got 2 months last year and the standard 6.7% bump, not sure about this year.

Like that poster said, got to wait till Feb. I'm at JP btw, 601 role. I'm guessing it'll be 1.5 month this year hah.

Eh it sucks but what to do...

I saw Citibank lay off so many people, their new CEO abit siao, even till today they are still laying off where they cut 20 Asia Pacific jobs... I'm scared GS will follow :(

just shut up and go back to your SIM thread or high finance thread or whatever u want people to think u are earning. People here are sharing their cash bonuses and increments already looking to get some clarity and ur comments are not helping the conversation.

I got about 10% increment and 1.5 month cash bonus. Not great, but can't complain since last year was a bloodbath. Assoc in GBM Ops

I did, so I thought it would be more. Hence a bit disappointed. But then, I heard the people around me were not even getting as much, so...I'm counting my blessings
