Hi guys!!

Was wondering if anyone applied for the HSBC 2021 Graduate Programme and received a reply after the job simulation test. I did the job simulation quite some time ago but still no reply. Anyone else gotten a reply yet?

same, applied for the mkts and secs, but havent received any updates following the job simulation test.

I applied for the Global Banking - IB graduate programme. If offers went out already then i guess i didn't get selected :/ Thanks for the reply though! Appreciate it.

Hi im in the same situation as you, completed the job simulation but no reply yet. When did you submit the job simulation?

I did the job simulation about 2 weeks ago. I got the job simulation about 2 days after the online immersive test so I thought it would be a quick reply but guess not :/ Hbu?

I suppose job simulation takes longer because HR needs to view the videos you recorded whilst stage 1 is merely an automated process.

Think minimum 14 days from last day of application submission before AC notification?
7 days grace for first test followed by another 7 days for job simulation.

Don't think so. Most of my friends didn't get any replies yet and I didn't get any reply for the IB graduate programme too.

Nope didn't hear back yet. I'm assuming they aren't recruiting for this year.

Just received an email that they're still reviewing the applications to consider which to shortlist for their AC.

yep, but doesn't seem to have more information as to what's the job scope? Also, is it a commission based job?

i dont think is commission based la, but tbh im not sure also. many of these programmes their job scopes are kept as vague as possible, and you'll most likely know your exact scope on the first day of work.

Nope I did not. I saw the UK forum that some of them just received the AC invite. Guessing we didn't make the cut at this point :/

Are the invites same across UK and sg? Did you receive the initial update email?

I would think they are similar because its the same timeline. Yea I received the initial update email.

How u know recruiting timeline is the same? Maybe SG lag 2 months lei.

I have a friend that got rejected 1 week after he did the second online assessment, which is around a month ago, so I'm guessing anyone receiving the late November update email at least passed the minimum cut off for the tests.

Yeah I did. I keep receiving emails about my application being under consideration but I have not heard any updates... But a lot of my friends have already received rejection emails....

I have a friend who received Markets AC last week. So I guess other departments like commercial banking not out yet? Since they are not even done with AC for Markets
