well in public svc, an Asst mgr , mgr and snr mgr nay all be doing the same thing

Depends on whether experience relevant or not. Total need minimum 4 years

too many ppl asking promote to this and that grade how many years..

Like all things in life.. theres always a bell curve... scholars fastest... then below par JLBs take the longest... until AD2 it follows a fixed cycle.. beyond that is really subjective... there are ppl who get DD before 30.. there are also people 40+ still AD
